Usage limits and bonus tokens

Xi-One is free in early access with a daily token allowance.

Daily allowance

Signed-in users get 100k tokens per day, shared by every Xi-One feature: Chat, Search, project chat, Doc AI and Xi Crew. Tokens are the units the AI model reads and writes, so a short question costs little and a long conversation costs more, because each reply re-reads the chat so far. The allowance resets at 12:00 AM IST. Settings → Usage shows what you have used, what is left, and which feature used it. The account menu shows the same remaining count.

Guests

Guests (not signed in) have a smaller hourly limit per connection. Sign in for the full daily allowance and saved chats.

Bonus tokens

When you refer a friend, both of you receive 60k bonus tokens. Bonus tokens are used after your daily allowance runs out, and they do not expire at midnight.

When you hit the limit

You will see a message that you have used all your tokens for today, with the time left until the reset. Bonus tokens are spent automatically once the daily allowance is gone. A reply that is already being written when you run out is allowed to finish. Xi Crew runs pause between steps when you are out of tokens; resume them after the reset.
