Profile requests and Inbox
Your public profile can have a Get in touch card with two buttons: Book a call and Send a message.
Turn it on
- Open your profile and choose Edit profile.
- Under Contact, switch on Let visitors book a call or send a message.
- Optionally add one line above the buttons, for example what work you take on.
- Make sure the profile is public. Requests only work while it is.
Where requests go
Each request appears in your Inbox (the inbox icon at the top of the sidebar). A blue badge shows how many are unread. Open one to read it, then:
- Reply opens your email app with the sender's address filled in.
- Mark unread, Archive or Delete to keep the Inbox tidy.
What visitors see and what you see
- Visitors never see your email address.
- You see the sender's name, email and message. A call request can also include when they are free.
- Xi-One does not send email. The sender gets no automatic confirmation, and you are not emailed when something arrives. Check the Inbox badge.
- Xi-One does not book a time on a calendar. A call request is a message that asks for a call. You agree the time by email.
Limits and privacy
- A visitor can send a few requests an hour, and a profile can receive up to 30 a day.
- Visitors must agree that their name, email and message are stored and shown to you before sending.
- Switch the option off, or make your profile private, and the buttons disappear straight away.
- Requests are part of your data. They are included when you download your data and removed when you delete your account.
