Xi-One is built by ANIX Tech, an early-stage startup based in Uttar Pradesh, India, founded by Ansh Trivedi. We are not yet a registered company, but we take your privacy seriously and are committed to being transparent about how your data is handled.

1. Who we are

2. What data we collect

Account information

When you sign in, we collect:

  • —Your display name (from Google or what you enter)
  • —Your profile photo URL (from Google, if available)

Profile information (optional)

If you choose to fill your profile in Settings:

  • —Bio / about you
  • —Date of birth

This information is optional and helps Xi-One personalize your experience.

Chat data

  • —Your messages and Xi-One's responses are saved to your account
  • —Chat titles are auto-generated from your first message
  • —This data is stored in Firebase (Google's cloud database)
  • —Your chat history is private — only you can see it

Usage data

  • —Number of messages sent per day (for rate limiting)
  • —Date of usage (to reset daily limits)
  • —This data is used only to enforce free plan limits

3. How we use your data

  • —To save and display your chat history
  • —To enforce daily message limits on the free plan

We do not use your chat content to train AI models. Your conversations are stored for your own access, not for our benefit.

4. Third-party services we use

Firebase (Google)

  • —Used to store chat history, profile data, and usage data

Groq API

  • —Used to generate AI responses (runs the Llama model)
  • —Your messages are sent to Groq's servers to generate responses

  • —We do not store your data on Groq's servers beyond what is needed for response generation

Future services

As Xi-One grows, we may add services such as:

  • —Analytics tools (to understand how Xi-One is used)
  • —Payment processors (for future Pro plans)

We will update this policy when new services are added.

5. Data sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with any third party for commercial purposes.

Your data may only be shared in these limited cases:

6. Data retention

  • —Delete your chats — available in the chat interface
  • —Request full account deletion — contact us and we will delete everything within 30 days
  • —Withdraw consent — you can stop using Xi-One at any time

8. Children and minors

Xi-One is designed to be used by people of all ages, including students. However, users under the age of 13 should have parental consent before using Xi-One. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13 without parental consent.

If you are a parent and believe your child has used Xi-One without consent, please contact us and we will delete their data promptly.

9. Security

  • —All data is stored on Firebase with Google-level security
  • —Authentication is handled by Firebase Auth — we never store your password
  • —Communication between Xi-One and our servers uses HTTPS encryption
  • —Access to your data is restricted to your account only

10. Changes to this policy

As Xi-One evolves, this policy will be updated. We will notify users of significant changes through the app. Continuing to use Xi-One after changes means you accept the updated policy.
